4H shotgun club to hold fundraiser
The Fayette County 4-H Shotgun Club will have their range open for clay target shooting, as a fundraiser, on Saturday, Sept. 28 from 9 .m.-5 p.m. The 4-H Shotgun range is located off Georgia Highway 85, approximately seven miles south of Fayetteville. The raindate wll be Saturday, Oct. 5. The cost is $5 per round of 25 targets or $10 for three rounds as an adult donation. High school and younger will pay $2.50 a round. The price does not include ammunition. Ammunition is available at the range for $5 per box of 25. Eye and ear protection are required (available at the range) and shotguns and safety trained adult coaches will be available to provide free instruction.
