Brooks Baptist begins children's choir program

Brooks Baptist Church is beginning a children's choir program. Members are currently in the planning stage to determine the best age group(s) and time(s) to meet. His House plans flea market Oct. 5

His House Community Church will have a Fun Fund-raiser Flea Market Saturday, Oct. 5, from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the church. The event will feature hot dog lunches, car washes, "Bondservant" to Jesus brass and copper jewelry, plants and monkey grass, and a World War II jeep/motorcycle display. His House Church is at 2450 Ga. Hwy. 85, south of the Hwy. 16/85 intersection in Senoia. Those who would like to donate white elephant or flea market items may call Dr. Knox Herndon, 770-719-2365.

FFUMC sponsors blood drive Oct. 6

The Fayetteville First United Methodist Church will sponsor a Red Cross blood drive Sunday, Oct. 6, from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the church gym. To sign up for an appointment, go by the church, or call 770-461-4313. First Methodist is on Ga. Hwy. 54 (Lanier Ave.) just off Courthouse Square in Fayetteville.
