Religion Briefs Brooks Baptist begins children's choir program Brooks Baptist Church is beginning a children's choir program. Members are currently in the planning stage to determine the best age group(s) and time(s) to meet. Church membership or prior experience is not required. His House plans flea market Oct. 5 His House Community Church will have a Fun Fund-raiser Flea Market Saturday, Oct. 5, from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the church. The event will feature hot dog lunches, car washes, "Bondservant" to Jesus brass and copper jewelry, plants and monkey grass, and a World War II jeep/motorcycle display. His House Church is at 2450 Ga. Hwy. 85, south of the Hwy. 16/85 intersection in Senoia. Those who would like to donate white elephant or flea market items may call Dr. Knox Herndon, 770-719-2365.
FFUMC sponsors blood drive Oct. 6 The Fayetteville First United Methodist Church will sponsor a Red Cross blood drive Sunday, Oct. 6, from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the church gym.
