FCFT spins musical tale of 'Charlotte's Web'

Fayette-Coweta Family Theatre, Inc. is set to present their professional troupe, "A Company of Friends Educational Productions," in the classic children's tale "Charlotte's Web."

Presented as a Little One's Series Musical Production and written by FCFT's own Gayann Truelove, this one-hour musical will be seen by over 2,500 local school children before it presents this tale of friendship, love and laughter to the public on Friday, Sept. 20 at 7 p.m.

All your favorite characters including Wilbur, Fern, Avery, Charlotte, Tempelton, Goose, Gander, Lamb, Mr. Zuckermann, Lurvy, and John Arable will delight family audiences as the story teaches moral lessons about loyalty, caring and having a place to feel you belong and are safe. Spiced with six original songs, an all professional cast, colorful sets and amazing costumes this show promises to entertain and delight children and families.

The story focuses on Wilbur, the pig, who avoids being sold for slaughter when his friend, Charlotte, the spider, begins to write messages about the pig in her webs.
