Sermon series on strengthening families offered The First Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City will offer a series of sermons during the month of September geared toward strengthening families. Former Catholic priest seeking letters Matthew Fox, a former Catholic priest and one of the world's most published scholarly theologians, is seeking letters from Catholics and non-Catholics currently questioning their faith for a book to be published within the year entitled, "Letters to My Catholic Brothers and Sisters." North Fayette preschool program has openings The Parents' Day Out program at North Fayette United Methodist Church still has openings for children in all age groups. FFBC to offer senior driving course The Fayetteville First Baptist Church will offer 55-Alive, a classroom refresher course for experienced motorists age 50 and older Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 28 and 29, from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. each day. The course covers normal age-related changes that interfere with vision, hearing and physical strength influencing driver skills. Some insurance companies offer discounts for those who have taken the complete course. Space is limited and preregistration is required. There is a $10 fee. Fayette Presbyterian offers Wednesday activities Special programs and activities abound at Fayette Presbyterian on Wednesday Nights. Dinner is at 6 p.m. followed by programs for all ages. The Kids Club has activities for K-5th grade children. "Wrestling with Angels," an adult Bible Study, and "Starting Point," an introduction to the church, are presented each evening after dinner.
