Lenox suffers strange lapse of memory at arrest hearing

I haven't been in the habit of writing letters to express my opinions, but I find the actions of Bob Lenox so ridiculous that I just can't keep quiet. As a citizen of Peachtree City, I find it absurd for him to take out his personal revenge at the public's expense.

He made "a mountain out of a molehill" over three small incidents in which he claimed that Mayor Steve Brown stole city services by using up a very small amount of volunteered employee time to make things at City Hall run smoother on those days.

I feel that Bob Lenox is a hypocrite to use up large amounts of people's time and services, including but not limited to Magistrate Judge Joe Tinsley, Mayor Steve Brown, Gloria Reid, and Jim Basinger in this whole episode. How does he justify blowing things up so and using up so many people's time and energy over small, already-admitted-to infractions?

According to the hearing and comments afterward, he didn't want Mayor Brown in jail, but "just wanted the public to know." All of THAT just to let the public know? This is his idea of informing the public?

It just tells me that this is not about how the city employees spend their time to serve us citizens. It seems that Bob Lenox had no problem wasting the time and energy of our elected officials and public servants for his personal agenda of personal attack. He "stole" much more time and services than he accused Mayor Brown of stealing.

This was not for the good of the people. Bob Lenox knew from the beginning that these small infractions would not lead to an arrest of our mayor. He said that he "just wanted the public to know." What I, as part of the public, found out is that Bob Lenox does not mind being ridiculous at the expense of others to attack a person that he dislikes.

By the way, why couldn't Bob Lenox even remember who told him about one of the incidents on which he based this arrest warrant request? It had been less than two months since the incidents.
