Bridal store stages anniversary open house By CAROLYN CARY
Friends and vendors of Belles & Beaus Bridal Shop, owned by Joan and Lamar Branton, participated in helping them celebrate the 20th anniversary of their business. The couple has lived in Fayette County for the past 27 years. They began with a 1,000 square foot showroom and now have their own building, housing 6,200 square feet of bridal gowns and a full tux department. Friends shared their memories of bringing their daughters in for a dress for their high school prom and several years later, bringing them in for a wedding dress. "Styles have changed during the past 20 years," said Joan, "but we still treat each client as royalty." The bridal shop is located at 282 Highway 314 and can be reached at 770-461-4818.
