If you are
any of these, you should walk for Alzheimer's
I am a wife. I am a mother of three. I am a grandmother of six. I am a great-grandmother of six. I am a volunteer for the Southern Crescent Alzheimer's Memory Walk 2002. I am telling you that Alzheimer's disease is not selective. I am saying that it is a horrific deadly disease that brings on memory loss, disorientation and lack of cognitive ability, then death. I am saying that 140,000 Georgians and 4 million Americans have AD. I am saying there is no cure. I am inviting you to walk for AD on Saturday, Oct. 5, at the Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater, Peachtree City. I am asking that you contribute money for research, education and support for caregivers. You are a compassionate caring community. You are willing to help through volunteering your time or contributing funds. You are going to be at the 5K Walk with your family, friends, and business associates. You are interested in making the Southern Crescent Alzheimer's Memory Walk 2002 the best in the state, knowing that all of Georgia walks on the same day. You are going to remember, "A world without Alzheimer's. A dream within reach." You are wonderful! See you there. For information, call 770-486-6991.
