Off Broadway musical comedy benefits children of Hope House

"Forever Plaid," the smash off-Broadway musical comedy will come to Fayetteville this weekend for two performances to benefit the Children's Respite Center (Hope House) and Christian City's Home for Children.

Heritage Christian Church, 2130 Redwine Rd., Fayetteville will host both performances, set for Friday and Saturday, Sept. 6 and 7.

"This hilarious 'heavenly' musical will put a smile on your face, a tap in your toes and a tune in your heart," a spokesperson said. "The story of four unlikely heroes whose dreams of musical glory are suddenly 'snuffed out mid-coda' reminds us of happy days of youth and four-part harmony."

All revenue generated by ticket sales will go directly to the children of Hope House and equally to the children of Christian City. Ticket prices are $15 and are tax deductible.

For tickets, call Janice Wright, 770-969-8354, or e-mail her at janice.swch@fairburn.com.
