New Hope Baptist missions event begins tomorrow night

Serving God where you are or abroad will be the focus of the upcoming missions conference, "My Neighborhood-God's World" at New Hope Baptist Church, Fayetteville. Missionaries from around the world will convene on Thursday, Sept. 5 through Sunday, Sept. 8 to share about how they feel God is moving in their place of ministry and how others can serve to help meet the needs of their mission fields.

Events begin with an opening service Thursday, Sept. 5, at 7 p.m. at New Hope South, 1563 Ga. Hwy. 74 South near Starr's Mill. Guest Speaker will be Dr. Doug Sager, First Baptist Concord, near Knoxville, Tenn.

On Saturday, Sept. 7, at 4:30 p.m., the church's new Mission Center will be dedicated at New Hope North, 551 New Hope Road, Fayetteville.

Saturday evening will feature a Missions Celebration with an adult missions banquet, Youth Mania for 7th -12th grade students, and Children's Safari for kids K-6th grades at New Hope North. Tickets are $5 per adult or $15 per family, and $2 per youth/child.

The conference will wrap up on Sunday, Sept. 8 with three special missions services at 8 and 10:40 a.m. at New Hope North, and 9 a.m. at New Hope South. An evening service will begin at 6:30 p.m. at New Hope North and will feature guest speaker Dr. Walker Moore of Awe Star Ministries, Tulsa, Okla.
