Braelinn Baptist offers free English classes

Braelinn Baptist Church in Peachtree City will offer free English classes for adult speakers of other languages, with classes in beginning, intermediate and advanced levels. Classes will be held on Monday nights beginning Monday, Sept. 9, from 7-9 p.m. in Building B. Braelinn Baptist is on the corner of Crosstown and Robinson roads in Peachtree City. First Presbyterian to host SPRY meeting Sept. 3

The first luncheon meeting of the fall season for the SPRY group (Senior Presbyterians Remaining Young) at First Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City will be Tuesday, Sept. 3, at 11:30 a.m. Guest speaker will be Gary Heidebrink who will speak and answer questions on annuities. All those persons who are 50 years and older are invited to come, bring a covered dish and bring a friend. The program will begin about noon, for those who do not wish to have lunch. Hopewell UMC revival is Sept. 22-25

Hopewell United Methodist Church in Tyrone will have revival services Sunday through Wednesday, Sept. 22-25, with the Rev. Ronn Jones as guest speaker and vocalist. Jones is founder of Compassionate Heart Ministries. Services start nightly at 7 p.m. and a nursery will be provided. The church is at 351 Jenkins Rd., across from Sandy Creek High School in Tyrone. CDM hosts 'brag on God' meetings

Christ Discipleship Ministries (CDM) in Tyrone meets one Friday evening per month for a time of prayer, praise, worship and "bragging on the goodness of God." The next meeting will be Friday,Sept. 6, at 7 p.m. The meeting is open to the public and all are invited. No nursery or childcare will be provided. Palmetto's Harris Chapel UMC revival is Sept. 3-6

Harris Chapel United Methodist Church in Palmetto will have its fall revival services Tuesday through Friday, Sept. 3-6, at 7 p.m. nightly. The Rev. Reginald M. Copeland of Clifton UMC will be the evangelist for the week. Harris Chapel is at 255 Fayetteville Rd., Palmetto. The Rev. J.D.Childers is pastor.
