Kickball league for adults forming
The Fayette County Recreation Department is in the process of starting an adult kickball league this fall for Fayette County citizens. This fun-filled league will be designed much like a softball league with the exception being that one will kick a ball instead of hitting the ball with a bat. Outs will be the same as in softball. Throwing the kickball at a player and hitting the player will not constitute an out. The registration fee will be $300 per team and will be taken through Aug. 30 from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. at the Fayette County Activities House. The league will consist of six teams playing a 10-game schedule. The first teams to pay the entry fee will get the available spots.
