The Swingin' Medallions head to The Beach

The Beach at Clayton County International Park in Jonesboro will present The Swingin' Medallions on Friday, Aug. 16 for an "Endless Summer at The Beach" concert.

The Swingin' Medallions are celebrating their 40th anniversary of performing party rock and have developed over the years into the self-proclaimed "Party band of the South." The gates open at 7 p.m. and the concert begins at 8 p.m.

Best known for their hit "Double Shot (of My Baby's Love)" and their other top 40 hits "She Drives Me Out of My Mind" and "Hey, Hey Baby" the band also performs a high energy blend of covers including "Domino," "YMCA," and "Brown Eyed Girl."

Concert-goers are invited to bring their own food and beverages, but coolers must be able to fit underneath their seat to keep aisles clear. Beer and wine are allowed inside the concert venue and the venue is a non-smoking facility.

Tickets for the concert are $17.50 for general admission or $150 for a table for six. Tickets are required for all ages. Phone 770-478-4800 to purchase tickets or stop by the Depot on Main Street in Jonesboro or the Visitor's Center at Southlake Mall.
