CDM to host seminar August 17

Christ Discipleship Ministries (CDM) will host an Apostolic Prophetic Seminar at Beulah Heights Bible College auditorium Saturday, Aug. 17, from 1-4 p.m. Apostle Carolyn Driver and Prophet Timothy Frazier will be the guest speakers. Friendship Baptist to celebrate 125th anniversary

Friendship Baptist Church in Palmetto will celebrate its 125th anniversary Sunday, Aug. 18. Worship service begins at 10:30 a.m. and will be followed by dinner on the grounds at noon. All members, former members and guests are invited to attend. The church is at 6090 Cochran Mill Rd., Palmetto.

Women's Aglow will meet Aug. 19

New Fayetteville resident Leann Olivera will be the guest speaker at this month's meeting of Women's Aglow International, Peachtree City Chapter, Monday, Aug. 19, at 7 p.m. The meeting will be at the Calvary Temple Assembly of God, 202 Robinson Rd., Peachtree City, next to Mowell Funeral Home. Informal coffee Aug. 23 will introduce Bible study

Providence United Methodist Church will have an informal coffee Friday, Aug. 23, at 10 a.m., to introduce its upcoming Community Bible Study class which will begin Sept. 13. The class will meet each Friday from 9:30-11:30 a.m. and is open to men and women of the community. Classes for children and a nursery for infants also will be offered. First Presbyterian plans marriage seminar

The First Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City will have a marriage seminar Friday and Saturday, Sept. 13 and 14 at the church. Friday's session is from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday's session is from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. The cost is $45 per couple and includes baby-sitting for children and lunch for adults. Parents are asked to pack a lunch for their children for the Saturday session. Registration forms are available at the church and paid reservations must be made by Sept. 6. Nativity schedules fall picnic Sept. 8

The Episcopal Church of the Nativity will have its annual fall picnic and Rally Day Sunday, Sept. 8, which will start immediately after the 10:30 a.m. morning service. Only one worship service will be held that day. Food, drink, fun and games will be the order of the day. Nativity is at 130 Antioch Rd., Fayetteville.
