How was city attorney at fault in mayor's ethics snafu? After the mayor's latest flap, I can stay silent no longer. This ethics deal is awfully weird. Somehow, the city attorney's a bum when the mayor exercises poor judgment. Pangs of conscience overwhelm and the mayor lashes out at Rick Lindsey. Add this item to the mayor's already extensive list of conspiracy theories, ad hominem attacks, and plain old inanities. Question: When faced with the challenge of getting your child to golf lessons, do you (a) coordinate your schedule with your spouse's; (b) ask a friend to help out; (c) skip the lesson; or (d) accuse the city attorney of conspiracy? Most of us would avoid (d) as the appropriate answer, but not our mayor. Note to Mayor Brown: You constantly carp about your critics. By entangling yourself in ridiculous situations like this one, you create those critics. Rex Green Peachtree City
