Remember flag votes of Kathy Cox, Bob Irvin

As we draw near another primary election, I want to remind my fellow voters that claim to be Republicans that they should remember those Republican legislators that helped Gov. Roy Barnes shove through the changing of our state flag.

Specifically, [they are] Kathy Cox of Peachtree City and Bob Irvin of Atlanta. Both of these personally nice, but politically out-of-touch individuals helped change a state symbol that the vast majority of Georgians, and Fayette Countians did not want changed.

By voting for the change, they have not only offended those of us that liked the flag just like it was, but more importantly, they have helped ensure that Georgia will have four more years of Democratic control. How? By going along with the Democratic party line of political correctness, historical revisionism, and racial terrorism practiced so well by that organization.

Republicans, wake up. Thanks to these political scalawags, we once again are facing defeat. Let's all stand up for what is right, not what is politically correct. Remember Mrs. Cox, and Mr. Irvin and their vote when you cast yours. I sure intend to.
