Beware of 'Mikey will eat anything commercial' I will vote for Linda Wells [and] Greg Dunn for commissioner. They have upheld the land use plan more than any commissioners since we have been in this county, now over 35 years. The only thing that has changed is the 500 percent increase in our taxes since moving to Fayette County. Past commissioners have not held to the land use plan many of us citizens worked on for over a year. Wells and Dunn have. Greg Dunn was very effective in working to stymie the Williams Power plant that was to be built in the north area of Fayette County. He worked to fight against this and worked to protect all of us citizens against the pollution this would cause our whole county, as well as the decreased land value from this backlash. In watching Mike Wheat in the years he was mayor of the city of Fayetteville, there were 51 different annexations. I would be afraid the city limits of Fayetteville would extend to the north Clayton County line up Ga. Highway 85 where the two counties meet, and then join to the Spalding county line south where the counties join. Don't let "Mikey will eat anything commercial" take over Fayette County.
