'Its About Sports" event is latest Family Fun Day

Children and their parents are invited to head out to Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta Saturday for a Family Fun Day. Taking place on the fourth Saturday of each month, Family Fun Day has a number of activities centered around a theme. This month's theme is "It's About Sports."

Visitors to the free event will get to learn about martial arts, making a race car or ball with the face of their favorite player, a baseball pin, the chance to take thei best shot at the Atlanta beat's interactive soccer goal or reach for the sky on the 24-foot climbing wall. There will also be mini soccer and tennis games for the children and visitors will get a chance to view what the pros drive around the track and view a junior dragster car show.

"It's About Sports" give children and parents a chance to interact, create and play together. The event lasts from noon to 4 p.m. Phone 404-222-PARK for additional information.
