Luncheon for college football fans next week

Make no mistake about it college football rules the South. Fans follow the recruiting season and spring practices with as much tenacity as they do the regular season. If you are a true college football fan, you will not want to miss the 2002 College Football preview Luncheon next Thursday.

The Atlanta Sports Council will present some of the top authorites on college fotball at the luncheon to get fans fired up for what is sure to be an exciting season. Featured speakers will be Lee Corso from ESPN's College Gameday, Tony Barnhart from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Georgia Tech head coach Chan Gailey and University of Georgia coach Dave Van Halanger.

The luncheon begins with registration at 11 a.m. and the lunch and program begins at noon. The event will take place at the Mariott Marquis Imperial Ballroom in Atlanta and will cost $25. Reservations are encessary and must be made by Tuesday, July 30. Phone 404-586-8510.
