Ask Joseph about child support

For the past week, I have been troubled by the column by the Rev. [David] Epps concerning paternity and child support payments.

I would think a priest would counsel a man to continue his role of a loving father to an innocent child, rather than acting on feelings of bitterness toward his ex-wife. No, this is not fair or equitable, but it seems to me exceedingly Christ-like.

If a man is able to provide for a little boy or girl, and love them as his own, despite their questionable paternity, this is amazing charity. Ask St. Joseph.
