Symphony comes to South Fulton

Fulton County District 7 Commissioner William "Bill" Edwards invites all Fulton County residents to a free outdoor concert featuring the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra tonight at 7:30 p.m.

It will be held at the Wolf Creek Olympic Shooting Complex, 3070 Merk Road, near Camp Creek Parkway.

Attendees can bring blankets, chairs and picnic baskets. Food vendors will also be onsite. The rain date is July 20.

The event is supported by the Fulton County Board of Commissioners under the guidance of the County Arts Council and Department of Economic Development. Other major sponsors include Partnership for Tomorrow, the South Fulton Chamber of Commerce, and GE Power Systems.

Partnership for Tomorrow is an umbrella community organization whose purpose is to bring together residents and businesses to improve the quality of life in South Fulton County.
