Soccer centre offers camps, adult league

The Soccer Centre will host a Speed Training Camp from July 15 through July 19 at The Centre. The camp will be for boys and girls from 7 through 18 years old. It will again be directed by Mr. Wiley J. Liley, a certified personal trainer.

Liley has conducted numerous camps and training sessions at The Soccer Centre. Ages 7 10 will train from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; ages 11 through 18 will train from 12:30-2 p.m.

The Soccer Centre in Fayetteville will hold an indoor/outdoor muppet camp this summer for players ages 4, 5, and 6 years old. The camp will be held July 22-26 at The Centre from 9-10:30 a.m.

This is an excellent way to introduce youngsters to the game of soccer and also help develop the basic skills of the game.

The Camp Director will be Kevin Dumas. Dumas is the Director of The Soccer Centre. He played at Georgia Southern University and holds a USSF National "C" coaching license.

The Fall season of Adult Indoor Soccer will soon kick-off at The Soccer Centre. There will be leagues for Open Men, Over 30, and Over 40 (Masters). The Open league will begin August 12, Over 30 September 9 , and Masters - August 3.

Masters will play Wednesday evenings, Over 30 Tuesday evenings, and Men's Open Mondays.

For more information on the camps or adult leagues, call The Centre at 770-460-8785 or visit their Web site at www.soccercentre.info.
