Question the candidates; demand truthful answers

Misrepresentations, distortions, and lies will not "restore the public trust." Who can you trust today your broker, Arthur Anderson, politicians?

This forum will be a good place to ask and get answered the tough questions that we need answered from those who want to represent us.

I encourage everyone to get involved and stay informed and know the true answers, not the "sound bites." Ask the difficult questions and expect an honest answer. You the voter need to make an informed decision on the person we elect to work for us. We pay the bills and we should determine how our county should grow.

I need to apologize, I said last week that former Fayetteville Mayor Mike Wheat annexed 35 times. I was wrong: It was 36.

I am sorry that the School Board election is uncontested. There are many questions that we need answered and, without opposition, they will go unanswered.

I love living in Fayette County. I have lived here for 20 years. I stay involved because I want Fayette County to stay a nice place to live for another 20 years.

Thanks for a good forum. See you at the polls Aug. 20.

Bob Craft
