Fireworks, food and frolicking at Summerfest this weekend

Summerfest, the City of Morrow's annual Fourth of July celebration, will return to the campus of Clayton College and State University for the fourth consecutive year in 2002.

The family fun and fireworks event will be held on Saturday, June 29, from 6 p.m. until 11 p.m. Sponsored by the City of Morrow, Clayton State and Allan Vigil Ford, Summerfest will feature carnival games, live musical entertainment, pony rides, clowns, face-painting, food, local entertainer "The Chicken Man," and an impressive fireworks display. The event will be held, rain or shine.

Admission to Summerfest is free, however a free parking pass is required for admission to the Clayton State campus. Parking passes are currently available at Morrow City Hall, the Morrow Tourist Center and from the Clayton State Office of Public Safety.
