Rolling Hills sermon series examines Constitution

Rolling Hills Baptist Church will have a pre-Independence Day Celebration Sunday, June 30 at 10:50 a.m. Pastor Wallace McAbee will begin a new sermon series on Christian principles in the United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Fayette Pentecostal plans yard sale

Fayetteville United Pentecostal Church will have a yard sale Saturday, June 29, from 6 a.m. until 2 p.m. A large selection of items will be available. The church is at 479 Inman Rd.

Fayetteville Christian plans patriotic service

FUMC plans Stone Mountain outing

Members of the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church will have a picnic outing to Stone Mountain following the evening worship service on June 30. Those planning to attend are asked to bring a picnic dinner for their family. The group will return to the church about 11 p.m. Only 77 spaces are available. Sandy Creek Baptist plans July Jamboree for kids

Area children ages 7-11 are invited to participate in Sandy Creek Baptist Church's July Jamboree every Wednesday from 9 a.m. until noon beginning July 3. The focus will be, "What does it mean to be a Christian?" Activities will include Bible study, arts and crafts. Parents are asked to provide their children with a lunch. National Heights cancels Wednesday dinners

Grief support meetings held each month at SWCH

Southwest Christian Hospice offers grief support meetings the second Thursday of each month at the hospice facility on Lester Rd. in Union City. Two sessions are offered, one at 10:30 a.m. and another at 7 p.m. For more information, call Gail Coffee, 770-969-8354.

Seniors invited to join 'McFolks' at MRBC

Senior adults in the community are invited to be a part of the 'McFolks' group at McDonough Road Baptist Church. The group participates in out-of-town trips, local get-togethers, and has its own choir at the church. The Senior Singing Adult Choir meets on Wednesday mornings. Senior adults meet at Vineyard Baptist

Senior adults in the area are invited to join the Young at Heart Ministry at Vineyard Baptist Church in Griffin.
