Holloway will address Christ the King men's group

The Right Rev. John W. Holloway, Bishop of the Diocese of Georgia for the Charismatic Episcopal Church, will address the men of Christ the King at the men's fellowship breakfast Saturday, June 15, at 9 a.m. The breakfast is open to all men in the community and will be held at the church's property at 4881 E. Bethany plans Father's Day breakfast June 16

Members of Bethany United Methodist Church will have a Father's Day Breakfast Sunday, June 16, at 10 a.m. No Sunday school classes are scheduled for that day. Bethany is at 607 Rivers Rd. in north Fayette County.

Flat Creek presents Sunday night mini-concerts

Flat Creek Baptist Church will offer mini concerts each Sunday night during the month of June. Tom Roberts will be featured June 16, The Waiting will perform on June 23, and The Lakeshore Quartet is set to appear on June 30. Flat Creek Baptist is at 161 Flat Creek Trail off Ga. Hwy. 54 about halfway between Fayetteville and Peachtree City.

Berkobin to be honored at Christ Our Hope

Carl Berkobin, Pastor Emeritus at Christ Our Hope Lutheran Church in Riverdale, will be honored during the 11 a.m. service Sunday, June 16, on the 50th anniversary of his ordination. A potluck dinner will follow the service. Christ Our Hope is at 2165 Ga. Hwy. 138 SW, Riverdale.

Bethany ladies to visit botanical gardens

The Circle of Love at Bethany United Methodist Church will travel to Atlanta June 18, to visit the Atlanta Botanical Gardens and have lunch. Those planning to attend are asked to meet at the church at 9 a.m. and bring a friend. Bethany is at 607 Rivers Rd. in north Fayette County. English as second language classes offered

The Fayetteville First Baptist Church will offer a study of English as a Second Language, taught by Nick Miller and Ryan Carter, Tuesdays and Thursdays from June 18-July 18. Classes will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Allen Fellowship Hall of the Fayetteville First Baptist Church. No classes will be taught July 2 or July 4.
