McIntosh rolls to state title The McIntosh High School roller hockey team recently won the Division A state championship. The Chiefs defeated South Forsyth in round one, 7-0 and Walton, 5-2 in the second round. McIntosh met Brookwood in the final and won 3-2. During the championship tournament the Chiefs outshot their opponents 77-50. Goalie Sally maple had a shutout in round one and assistant captain J.J. Grady placed third in the league for the season in goals scored while Greg Arbuckle placed second in the league for assists. The entire team, which practices at the Kedron Multi- Purpose Rink on Thursday evenings at 8 p.m., all made key contributions on their way to the state title.
