Fayette's Flat Creek Baptist applauded by Ga. Convention

Flat Creek Baptist Church was recently recognized by the Georgia Baptist Convention for leadership in the Fairburn Baptist Association in three areas: leading contributor through the Cooperative Program for 2001; largest percentage contributor through the Cooperative Program for 2001; and leading contributor per resident member through the Cooperative Program for 2001.

Three certificates of appreciation were presented to the church at the spring meeting of the Fairburn Baptist Association.

Dr. J. Robert White, executive director of the Georgia Baptist Convention, expressed his appreciation on behalf of Georgia Baptists or the church's support of missions, educational and benevolent causes of the convention.

Flat Creek is on Flat Creek Trail off Ga. Hwy. 54, between Fayetteville and Peachtree City.
