State agency can help PTC

Has [Peachtree City] ever thought of inquiring about the State Defense Force for an unarmed uniformed presence at the air show?

The Georgia State Defense Force could supplement the authorities as a uniformed presence, traffic control and "eyes" or patrol for the police and fire departments.

The SDF does not carry firearms and work under the rules set forth by the requesting department as long as it's not in conflict with the state Constitution. The SDF is a state agency under the Department of Defense to serve all the people of Georgia. Just a thought that may or may not draw interest.
