Metro now offering closing services Metro Brokers recently added in-branch closings to its menu of services, becoming the only real estate company in metro Atlanta to offer home buyers true one-stop shopping from purchase to close. In-branch closings are being conducted by a new company called Metro Title Trust, a partnership with the law firm of Perrie & Cole, LLC. Metro Title Trust can provide closing services no matter where the loan originates and is on the approved list of every major bank and mortgage company. Metro Title Trust plans to conduct closings at every Metro Brokers office. Closing services began at the Peachtree City office on May 1. Kevin Levent, president and CEO of Metro Brokers, said the birth of MetroTitle Trust comes in response to the most maligned part of the home buying and selling process - the closing. "Home buyers and sellers become accustomed to doing business in the branch office," Levent said. "When it comes time to close, they go to a strange office that may or may not be convenient for them. It makes them feel uncomfortable and disconnected instead of being excited about the purchase or sale of their home." In addition to the convenience of in-branch closings, Metro Title Trust customers can access closing documents or check on the status of their closing through an online, password-protected network that can be accessed from any computer with an Internet connection. Metro Brokers is a full-service real estate company with 19 offices in the metropolitan Atlanta area. The company also provides financial, insurance, and corporate relocation services, as well as commercial real estate brokerage and corporate new homes marketing.
