First Presbyterian in PTC to host mother/daughter event Saturday

"We Have a Story to Tell," is the theme for the Third Annual Mother-Daughter evening at the First Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City planned for Saturday, May 11, at 6 p.m.

Wendy Zehner, children's director for McDonough Christian Church, will be the guest speaker. Also on the program are the First Presbyterian's Children's Choir, under the direction of Sue Lieberman, and the Styx4God who will perform two praise songs.

Each table is decorated by an assigned hostess and set with fine china and crystal. Jeff and Lee McKinney are in charge of the planning and preparation of dinner for the third consecutive year. Husbands, fathers and sons will be waiters.

Tickets are $4 for adults and $2 for children and may be purchased through the church office (770-487-7757) or by calling Vicki Schildmeyer at 770-632-6631. With reservations, childcare is included in the ticket price.

First Presbyterian is at 206 Willowbend Rd., Peachtree City, across from the city hall and library complex.
