A popular restaurant along downtown Fayetteville's busy Ga. Highway 85 corridor is undergoing a major makeover, and another nearby is making plans to the same thing.

Fayette County just had a fantastic and, in my opinion, spirit-filled National Prayer Breakfast at Grace Evangelical Church Thursday. The meeting is traditionally ended by pastors encircling and praying for and "laying on of hands" on elected officials.

Love makes a difference

Marietta pastor Gerald Harris tells the story about a former church member named Clifton, a member of Harris' church in South Carolina. He was about 50, had worked all of his life, have never been married, saved every penny that he ever earned, lived with his mother until she passed away, and then continued living in the same house his mother owned. It was an old frame house.
