Fayette Ballet presents spring concert Fayette Ballet will present its spring concert at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic High School Sunday at 3 p.m. The 90-minute presentation promises to be a versatile program of dance by junior and senior company members, teachers and guest artists. Headlining the program will be excerpts from "Sleeping Beauty," one of Tchaikovsky's classics. The work was originally staged by artistic director Kathleen Senger in the spring of 2001 and was recently restaged for this production by choreographer Patrick Turner, who will also perform as "The Prince." Fayette Ballet principal dancers appearing in lead roles include Autumn Reed as "Princess Aurora," Anna Loving as "Lilac Fairy," Natashia Williams as "Puss N' Boots" and Sara Keene as "The Bluebird." Also featured on the program is an energetic contemporary jazz work choreographed by Jennifer Archer called "Get Down!" and danced by Junior company and Senior company apprentices and "Espanol Americana" a Spanish pointe piece choreographed by Cari Martin. School of Performing Arts Faculty members Turner, Archer and Terrence Bennett will appear as solo artists and guest performers Atlanta Dance Experience a contemporary liturgical dance company will complete the program.
