FUMC schedules prayer service Thursday

In conjunction with the National Day of Prayer, the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church will have a special National Day of Prayer service thursday, May 2, at 7:30 p.m. the church is 175 East Lanier Ave (Ga. Hwy. 54) just off Courthouse Square in Fayetteville.

Bethany's yard sale is Friday, Saturday

Members of Bethany United Methodist Church will have their annual yard sale Friday and Saturday, May 3 and 4, at the church on Rivers Rd. in north Fayette County. For more information or directions, call the church office, 770-964-6992 or 770-964-6999.

Christ's Church at Whitewater hosts garage sale

Christ's Church at Whitewater will host a garage sale this Saturday, May 4, at the American Legion in Fayetteville beginning at 8 a.m. All proceeds will benefit a mission trip to Mexico. A group of adults and teens from Whitewater will travel to Estancia, Mexico in late July to assist in various projects.

Covenant Presbyterian sets mother-daughter event

Covenant Presbyterian Church will have its Mother/Daughter Luncheon Saturday, May 4, at Camp Calvin Center in Woolsey. The cost is $10 for adults and $7.50 for children ages 2-10. Inman ladies plan luncheon this Sunday

The Sisters in Service at Inman United Methodist Church will have its annual All Daughters Luncheon Sunday, May 5, in the Fellowship Hall, immediately following the 11 a.m. service. Liberty Baptist ladies plan concert

Christian comedienne Anita Renfro will be the featured entertainer in a concert hosted by the ladies ministry of Liberty Baptist Church Thursday, May 9, at 7:30 p.m. in the worship center. FFBC to dedicate new ministry center May 5

Members of the Fayetteville First Baptist Church will dedicate their new ministry center Sunday, May 5, with a special schedule for the day. Sunday school will be at 9:15 a.m., followed by only one worship service for the day at 10:30 a.m. A covered dish luncheon will follow the service. The church is at 205 Stonewall Ave., Fayetteville.
