Paddlers to host clinic

The Peachtree City Paddlers' annual Beginners Clinic has been scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, May 4-5, beginning at 1 p.m. The cost is $15 per person or $20 per family.

The Saturday schedule at Lake Kedron in Peachtree City includes an introduction to paddling and instruction on paddling strokes. An optional river paddle is scheduled for Sunday with the location and time to be announced later.

Those interested in participating in the clinic can register and learn more details, including the cost, by contacting Harvey Witt, the canoeing and kayaking club's president, at 770-227-5407 or by emailing him at hjrush@hotmail.com.

Members of the Paddlers who can help with the clinic or who can lend boats and equipment for participants are also asked to contact Witt.
