Starr's Mill's girls hosted Newnan last night while the boys hosted Fayette County. Newnan's Lady Cougars advanced to the second round by blanking Stockbridge, 7-0. Fayette County's Lady Tigers stayed in the mix by defeating Jonesboro, 3-1 on penalty kicks. The two teams were deadlocked at 1-1 after regulation and two overtimes. The Fayette County boys won their game against Evans, 3-0 and set up a rematch with Starr's Mill, which defeated them 4-0 in the regular season.
