PTC Tennis Center offers events for all ages
The Peachtree City Tennis Center is reaching out to seniors by offering a free round-robin today and next Friday from 2-4 p.m. It is open to all levels of men and women ages 60 and up. They are also offering the Peachtree City senior ladder which will last from Apr. 26-June 7 with no play on May 24. The fee is $35 per session and Friday court fees are $4 for two hours. The fee for members is $15 per session and court fees are waived. There are many reasons to join the senior ladder including good exercise, a structured system, points rewarded for playing, matches can be singles or doubles, a permanent scoarboard that you can show off to others and the opportunity to play on what the Atlanta Journal-Constitution called the "best clay courts" in 1999. The tennis center will also offer summer camps for adults and children. There will be camps for all levels of players starting at age 4. They will also offer overnight camps this year for the first time ever. For more information on the senior ladder or the summer camps, phone 770-486-9474 or visit www.tenniscenter.net.
