Wendell Coffee offers summer camp for junior golfers By MICHAEL

The Wendell Coffee Golf Center will offer junior golf camps every week from May 28-Aug. 23. The camps are designed to teach children the bascis of golf and how fun the sport can be. Each junior will receive different instruction according to his or her level of play. The fee is $175 per week with a $25 discount on the second child or for each additional camp ($125 minimum). The day begins with a warm up from 8:30 - 9 a.m., though children can be dropped off as early as 8 a.m. as needed. There will be a swing lesson from 9-10 a.m., work on the short game from 10-11 a.m., putting from 11-11:30 a.m. and lunch and a golf video from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Campers then play nine holes on the par three course from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Lunch, drinks and prizes are included and clubs are provided if needed.
