Citizens urged to complete Recreation survey The Fayette County Recreation Department is currently conducting a countywide Recreational Needs Assessment through written surveys, 1,000 randomly selected phone surveys and public hearings. Citizens are encouraged to participate by filling out and returning the survey, located in the paper, to the Recreation Department at 140 Stonewall Avenue in Fayetteville. Surveys may also be completed and returned at the public meetings listed below or Activities House, 108 Old Senoia Road. The public meetings will take place at 7:30 p.m. on the following dates. They will meet Friday, Apr. 26 at the Fayette County Commission Chambers; Monday, Apr. 29 at North Fayette Elementary School; Tuesday, Apr. 30 at Brooks Elementary School; Thursday, May 2 in the meeting room of the Peachtree City Library and Friday, may 3 at Tyrone Town Hall.
