Southside Cobras finish successful season By MICHAEL

The McIntosh boys and girls tennis teams had two games last week before heading to spring break. They defeated North Clayton and Fayette County last week. The boys won both matches 5-0, while the girls won both matches 4-1. Singles winners for the boys against North Clayton were Phil Van Fossan, Stefan James and Osman Farqui, while doubles winners were Francois Pienaar and Patrick Thomas and Hoot Fisher and Quan Li. Singles winners for the girls were Denise Daughenbaugh, Lauren Wilde and Renae Clarke, while the doubles winners for the girls were Salma Stoman and Leana Brandlehner. Singles winners for the boys against Fayette County were B.J. James, James Dwyer and Marc Dwyer, whil Van Fossan and Stefan James and Farqui and Justin Hale won their doubles matches. Priscilla Roberts lost to Kacie Anson in singles, while Rebecca Timmis and Denise Daughenbaugh won their singles matches. Adrian Hodges and Lauren Wilde and Sunya Sweeney and Shelby Carlson won their doubles matches. McIntosh will play at Newnan Thursday, Apr. 11.
