African-American pleased with senior center I'm an African-American and I live with my daughter, and I'm 83 years old and I've been coming to the Friendship Center for a year. I have been to two other centers and I have never had better service than at the center and the people have been much nicer here than at the others. Usually when I attend a center I'm the only African-American there, but no one has treated me badly or seems to mind. I enjoy going to the center and I'm getting services that I've never had before. Van drivers will come to the door with an umbrella and help you to the van when it's raining. On the holidays the staff and volunteers take time to decorate the center. The staff at the center is so nice. The only thing is there's a shortage of restrooms; that's the only complaint I have. Callie Dubose Fayetteville
