Gold's Gym offers triathlon training seminar

Gold's Gym PTC East is hosting a free seminar entitled, "Triathlon 101 - An Introduction to Triathlon Training in Fayette County." The seminar will be held Thursday, April 11th at 7:00pm and is open to the general public.

A typical Triathlon includes running, biking and swimming. The event is an ideal challenge for athletes who are would like to move beyond racing in one genre.

"Fayette County is an ideal place to train for multi-sport events. We're excited to offer this free, informative seminar to the public," said J.D. Holmes, Owner of Gold's Gym - Fayette.

Some of the topics that will be covered include: what it's really like to do a triathlon, how to fit training into a busy schedule, what are some of local races, how to develop a training plan, and much more.

Joe Domaleski, seminar instructor notes, "If you've ever considered participating in a triathlon, but aren't sure what it's about, then this seminar if for you. Even if you have participated in a triathlon, this seminar will offer practical tips on how to make the most of your training."
