Fayetteville First Baptist presents 'Bow the Knee' Friday, Saturday

The Fayetteville First Baptist Church's Sanctuary Choir and Praise Orchestra will present the dramatic musical, "Bow the Knee," Friday and Saturday, March 29 and 30, at the church. Both performances will begin at 7 p.m.

Using the story of Jesus' healing of the centurion's servant (Matthew 8:5-13) as a starting point, the musical traces the last days of Jesus' earthly ministry to His death and resurrection, through the eyes of that centurion, named Anthony in the play.

Performances are free but tickets are required since seating is limited each night. To obtain tickets, call 770-461-TRUE. Tickets may be picked up at the church or will be mailed upon request. Church office hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Child care will be available for children ages birth through five years.

Fayetteville First Baptist is at 205 E. Stonewall Ave, two blocks east of Courthouse Square.
