Peachtree National Bank picks Farr as top employee

Peachtree National's executive vice president and chief operating officer Tom Farr was recently selected by bank employees as the 2001 Employee of the Year.

The award is presented annually to the individual who has gone above and beyond their normal work duties in assisting both customers and fellow employees.

"Tom Farr is the perfect example of this award. He is the most totally honest and dependable person I have ever had working with me," said CEO Ron Duffey.

The bank is headquarterd in Peachtree City and has seven locations in Fayette and Clayton counties.

Peachtree National is part of Synovus Financial Corporation, located in Columbus. It is listed as the fifth best company to work for, according to Fortune Magazine.
