Panthers tennis team nabs two wins

The Starr's Mill boys tennis team is off to a solid start.

On Tuesday, they defeated East Coweta 5-0. John Esterline, Chad Newton and Brian O'Keefe won their singles matches.Adam Esterline/Philip Strickland and Drew Evans/Eric Jackson won their doubles matches.

The following day they had another successful afternoon. The Panthers beat Lovejoy 5-0.John Esterline, Newton and Adam Esterline won their singles matches. Brian O'Keefe/Philip Strickland and Drew Evans/Ben Matlaga won their doubles matches.Exhibition matches were played by Evan Foster, Eric Jackson and Steven King and all were winners.

Starr's Mill has seven returning players and four talented newcomers to the team. They are looking forward to a very successful season.
