Local soccer teams in midseason form By MICHAEL

Though temperatures the early part of this week didn't feel spring like, the local soccer teams showed they were in midseason form. McIntosh's boys and girls soccer teams traveled to Sharpsburg to take on East Coweta's soccer teams on Tuesday night. The Lady Chiefs played first and won 15-0, while the boys defeated the Indians, 8-0. The McIntosh boys soccer team is 5-0 and has yet to be scored upon, while the Lady Chiefs are 6-0. The McIntosh boys will play at Fayette County High School tonight at 8 p.m. The Lady Chiefs will face Fayette County on Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. in Fayetteville. The Fayette County Lady Tigers (2-3) hosted ninth ranked Brookwood on Tuesday and lost 4-0. The boys team (4-0) has been off since their 15-0 win over Riverdale last Friday. The Newnan lady Cougars improved to 3-1 on the seson with a 2-1 win over Northgate on Tuesday. The Lady Cougars will play at fifth ranked Harrison tonight at 7:30 p.m. and then wil play at Riverdale tomorrow at 3 p.m. Starr's Mill's boys and girls soccer team hosted Morrow on Tuesday night and both teams won big. The lady Panthers improved ther record to 5-1 with a 15-0 win over the Lady Mustangs, while the boys improved to 4-2 with a 16-1 win. Starr's Mill will host an exciting double header tomorrow when Parkview comes to town. The girls will face the seventh ranked Parkview team at 4 p.m. followed by the boys game against the top ranked Parkview squad at 6 p.m. Sandy Creek's boys and girls squads continue to perform well on the soccer field. The Lady Patriots defeated Forest Park 11-0 on Tuesday and the boys won 3-1. Sandy Creek hosts two tough Heritage teams tonight. The girls game begins at 6 and the boys game will begin at 8 p.m.
