Fayette Presbyterian members welcome Arnold-Hoffman

The Rev. Garrett Arnold- Hoffman has assumed duties as pastor at Fayette Presbyterian Church and will be welcomed by the membership at the 10:30 a.m. worship service Sunday, March 10. Arnold-Hoffman was formerly pastor at Loyd Presbyterian Church in LaGrange.

Arnold-Hoffman holds a Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary and will replace the Rev. David Black, who retired after 23 years.

While searching for a permanent pastor for the past two years, the membership has been served by two interim pastors, the Rev. Ruth Hicks and the Rev. William (Bill) Nisbet.

"We are pleased to have had the help and service of these marvelous people in our pulpit," a church spokesperson said. "Now we look forward with anticipation to the leadership we will receive from the Rev. Arnold-Hoffman."

Arnold-Hoffman and his wife, Amy, have two children, Evan and Belle.

Fayette Presbyterian is at 791 Forrest Avenue (Ga. Hwy. 92 North) in Fayetteville.
