Abundant Life revival to feature Steve Pegram

Steve Pegram, internationally known author, will be the guest speaker at the "Week in the Glory" revival at Abundant Life Worship Center, Sunday March 10 through Wednesday, March 13. Sunday's events will begin at 10:45 a.m. and 6 p.m., and weekday services will begin at 7:30 p.m. ßAbundant Life Worship Center is on Ga. Hwy. 74, north of Tyrone. The Rev. Calvin Smith is pastor. Holy Trinity to present Faure's Requiem Saturday

Holy Trinity Catholic Church will present a sacred concert featuring Requiem, Op. 48, by Gabriel Faure, Saturday, March 9, at 8 p.m. Performing will be the combined choirs with orchestra, organ and harp. The concert choir is formed from an ecumenical gathering of choir members from several area churches. They join the Holy Trinity adult choir under the direction of Claire Stroud, Holy Trinity's music director. The concert is free. A reception will follow in the church hall.

Christian Women's business group forming

The Rev. Sandra Wilmesherr of the First Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City is forming a Christian Business Women's Group with the first meeting planned for Tuesday, March 12, from noon-1 p.m. at Shadow's Restaurant in Peachtree City. The theme of the group is "living our faith within the context of work and family." All interested women in the community are invited. Tyrone Baptist children to present musical Sunday

The children's groups at Tyrone First Baptist Church will present a musical drama this Sunday, March 10, at 6 p.m. Tyrone First Baptist is at 305 Arrowood Rd. adjacent to Sharon Memorial Gardens in Tyrone. For more information, call the church, 770-487-4385.

Body of Christ Christian offers healing school

The Body of Christ Christian Church offers a free, six-weeks Healing School for those who suffer from serious, chronic or terminal illness. Local church offers free tutoring

The Body of Christ Christian Church offers free tutorial services each month for youth ages 6-18. Assistance is available in math, reading, language arts, English and science. The tutoring service is offered through the church's I.M.P.A.C.T. program (Inspiring Master Performance in Academics Through Caring Tutors). In March, sessions will be held each Tuesday from 6:30-7:15 p.m. at the church, 1000 Kenwood Rd., Fayetteville. For more information, call the central office, 404-763-1700.

First Presbyterian will host 'Jesus in the Passover'

David Zauber, Atlanta director of Jewish Believers in Jesus, will present "Jesus in the Passover," a special service explaining the Passover celebration, Wednesday, March 20, from 6-7:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City. The service also will include a Seder meal. Reservations must be made with the church before noon, Monday, March 18. The cost is $4.50 for the Seder meal. Johnny Prettyman joins staff of Heritage Christian

Johnny Prettyman has joined the staff of Heritage Christian Church as its new worship minister. Prettyman and his wife, Alice, have two children and are in the process of moving to Fayette County. The Prettyman family will be welcomed at a reception at the church this Sunday, March 10, immediately following the morning worship service. Heritage Christian is at 2130 Redwine Rd.
