Grace Evangelical to celebrate Missions Fest 2002 Grace Evangelical Church will celebrate Missions Fest 2002 beginning Sunday, March 10 and concluding Sunday, March 17. Special guests will be Dr. Bill Lawrence from Dallas Theological Seminary, Christian songwriter and performer Scott Wesley Brown, and Bill Drake, international musician with Tyrone's Operation Mobilization. The theme for the event is "Short Term Ministry ... Life Time Impact." Lawrence will kick off the event as guest speaker Sunday, March 10. The author of two books, Lawrence is professor of pastoral ministries at Dallas Theological Seminary where he has served for more than 20 years. He also speaks at church and missions conferences, does business consulting and conducts leader formation seminars all over the world. He has served on the board of Overseas Crusade International for 30 years and has been involved with Campus Crusade for Christ. On Wednesday, March 13, at 7 p.m., Scott Wesley Brown will be featured in concert. Brown's signature has been on nine number one singles in adult contemporary and Christian music rankings in the past two decades. His songs have been recorded by Sandi Patti, Amy Grant, Pat Boone, The Imperials, and international recording star, Placido Domingo. Tickets to the concert are free but are required. Contact the church office, 770-487-0791. On Sunday, March 17, Bill Drake will be featured as guest worship leader, and guest speaker will be Grace's associate pastor, Elder Mike Stachura. Drake has been with Operation Mobilization for 12 years and has been based in London for the past 10 years. Stachura has served Grace Church since 1997 and formerly served as president of Advancing Churches in Missions Commitment, president and CEO of Operation Mobilization USA, and the managing director of the OM evangelistic and discipleship training ship, Doulos. Grace's senior pastor, Bruce Hebel, said, "Grace Church's passion is to grow in our intimacy with God and our intimacy with one another. Our Missions Fest 2002 is designed to help us understand how we can share that passion with the world around us. Grace Evangelical, a nondenominational church, is at 164 Flat Creek Trail, between Ga.
