Liberty Baptist youth to hold car wash Saturday to benefit injured Fayette Co. student

The youth group at Liberty Baptist Church will have a car wash Saturday, March 9, from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at GTO's drive-in south of Fayetteville.

Proceeds from the car wash will go towards hospital bills and expenses for fellow student Justin Holloway who was injured in an automobile accident last December.

Holloway, a senior at Fayette County High School and a member of the football and wrestling teams, received a brain injury and remains in a coma.

"Needless to say, his medical bills are mounting every day," a spokesperson said. "Due to his critical brain injury he is still in a coma and requires constant attention. His life has been put on hold."

Rain date for the event is Saturday, March 16.

GTO's is at the intersection of Ga. Hwys. 85 and 92, south of the Fayette County courthouse.

Those who are not able to attend the car wash but who would like to make donations may send them to: The Justin Holloway Fund, Southern Community Bank, P.O. Box 142069, Fayetteville, GA 30214.
