Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran announces midweek services Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City has announced its series of midweek Lenten services, as well as special events planned for Sundays leading up to Easter. Lenten services are planned for Wednesdays at noon and Thursdays at 7 p.m. through March 21. The Grandview College Choir is scheduled to perform at the March 21 service. In addition, a special drama presentation is scheduled for Sunday, March 3, and Sunday March 10. Palm Sunday, March 24, will feature communion at all services, including the Saturday evening service, March 23. On Sunday, March 3, at 6 p.m., Rebecca McGuire will be the woman at the well in a dramatic presentation. On Sunday, March 10, at 6 p.m., Dan Sered with Jews for Jesus will present "Christ in the Passover," a presentation which aims to enhance the Christian understanding of the New Testament by showing the Jewish background for the communion celebration.
